The Root Beer Stand has been a close-knit family operation from day one and remains so today. As a matter of fact, both of our main cooks met the men they married while working at The Stand. Been going there since before I was even born. Seriously. Best homemade rootbeer and floats. Always get at least 1 footlong chillie, cheese, mustard no onion and a bag of chips. Bring cash because they are old school (like it should be) wish they still had car service that would be a great thing to bring back as long as you get under the awning. Keep that in mind please.

Just as good, if not better than what I remembered!! Food was delicious and service was GREAT!!
I can see how this place is iconic in the Cincinnati area. The atmosphere was old times. The cheeseburger was delicious. But a word of caution. The single bathroom was almost too odorous from urine to enter.
Normally I do my reviews in the order I visit the places meaning I do the reviews a few weeks after I visit but since this place closes for winter we'll hit this one immediately. This was a little summertime friendly joint in Sharonville. They of course specialize in root beer and root beer floats and they're as good as any I've ever had.
