I LOVE THE RIV!! They have a wonderful atmosphere with plenty of room inside and outside. It’s the prettiest place to have coffee! The owners are talented and awesome -- very down-to-earth friendly!! <3
My husband and I happened upon this cafe while visiting the Gorge, and I'm glad we did. Excellent sandwiches and great coffee. If we ever visit The Dalles again, we will be back.

This place was amazing!! My friend Kristen and I stopped here on our drive from Seattle, WA to Boise, ID and the gentleman made me the best Almond milk mocha I have ever had. Also the food (especially the biscuits) and service was 5 stars. For a warm and friendly atmosphere and amazing food and coffee I highly recommend you stop in!
