The River Source Adult program is the best. most step-oriented program I have been exposed to. The treatment staff are not only knowledgeable but also aware of the many challenges the residents face. Because of that they are able to suggest solutions to problems and also be a source of strength, encouragement and honesty. The River Source facility has an EXCELLENT program. Their program far out beats any place I've checked out in which their program has been instrumental in building a solid foundation for recovery. This is a deadly disease and River Source means business whether or not the alcoholic and/or addict has the open-mindedness AND willingness to live the program of recovery.
My experience at The River Source was amazing because of the all of the staff, the program, the services, yoga, and vitamin IV therapy. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone seeking help for their addition/alcoholism.
For 7 years I have work in Behavioral Health Field. This is the first time I have been on the other side of being in a behavioral health facility for my own recovery. With that said by comparison The River Source is so involved with the success of each individuals recovery. After going to several different treatment centers, I can honestly say that The River Source is the best 12 step based treatment center I have ever been to. They are holistic based, which was great for me because I like natural remedies. Medically, they are good if you are looking for that holistic approach. If there is a lot of psychiatric needs I wouldn't say this would be the best fit. They do take you to an outside psychiatrist if need, but there is not one on site. It is a strong program with great staff who really do care about you. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good and strong program. They really care about weather or not you leave here with the proper tools.
This is not my first treatment center. I was a bit skeptical coming as to why this program would change my addiction. From the moment I walked in the doors, hope was in the air. The brothers I've met here have forever changed my life. The staff also have changed my life. They too are in recovery which makes a world of difference. I was nervous coming into the facility being that it was my first time in treatment, but after my first day I had nothing to be worried about. it is a brotherhood unlike any other which makes it much easier to open up and find the underlying cause of your addiction. having it be a 12 step program and very spiritual makes it great because you become closer with your god or higher power. the staff here is very considerate and helpful and want nothing but the best outcome for each and every one of the patients. the group settin... read more
There is no better place like the River Source for your treatment; walking in through the big doors you don't know what to expect but there is a staff behind those walls that is dedicated to your unique condition (in my case alcohol).
