I’ve lived here for almost a year and almost monthly there is a new issue, whether it be with maintenance or billing, there is always something new. I can never get ahold of management, and when I do, they offer very little help, causing simple problems to be extended to multiple weeks and month. Do not live here!
From the father of a college student paying rent - Run do not walk away from the Rive Apartments owned by Newberry! While living there, we had several repairs that were never made despite submitted formal requests. Now to add insult to injury, upon move out we were charged a bedroom carpet cleaning fee. We moved in and the bedroom carpet was in terrible shape, but as a college student we lived with it (and put an area carpet over the floor). 10/10 as always!! My apartment was having some trouble with our dishwasher, and the crew was out here promptly to help us troubleshoot. Shout out to Tee, she spent hours here, making sure that everything was running smoothly. all is well now, thanks again!
Don’t waste your money on this lipstick on a pig. This place is worse than the freshmen dorms and Athens real estate. When you move in, get ready for your apartment to be small and nothing like the model. In the first week you’ll find mold, appliances not working (washer, dishwasher, fire alarms, front door lock) and bugs, lots of bugs. I am beyond furious right now. I have lived here for a year now and have had some problems but not enough to warrant a poor review until now. My apartment has been pretty vacant over the summer as everyone has moved back home & we will occasionally come up for the weekend a few times. To save money, we turned off all lights and AC and was very vigilant about locking the door before leaving. I was the last one to leave, and I know for a fact I did all of those things.
