I wanted to share my disappointment regarding the cleanliness and condition of the rooms during my recent stay on May 9, 2026, in celebration of Mothers Day Upon arriving in my first room, I found a used tissue filled with hair placed behind what appeared to be clean towels. This was extremely unpleasant and not at all what I expected from a Ritz Carlton property. After reporting the issue, I was moved to a different room. I enjoyed my recent stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. From the time of my check in until my departure the service and hospitality was superb. The staff were very friendly, warm and accommodating. Andrew Hill at the front desk was exceptional. He made sure that all of our questions were answered and all needs were met. The hotel itself is lovely ,immaculate, and in a wonderful location. I had a delightful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless non-stressful experience..

I pride myself on good reviews. Everything about hotel was great. Guys outside work their tails off bell services fantastic. Today a 3 hr drive turned into 6/7 so I called ahead to advise my lateness and very nice person in communications confirmed reservation. When I arrived the usual smiles outside guy remembered my name but lady at front desk was less than happy to see me at 3am. She became loud, hitting counter because there was no first name on res. As a Ritz, it's surprising mid, room, mid, interior mid, service, mid...everything is mid, just feels like a mundane average U.S. hotel but just much more expensive. Very low value.
