Hard to beat the Ritz
I enjoyed a two night staycation here and it was wonderful. The staff are excellent, from the bellman, the front desk staff, food delivery, everyone was so kind and attentive. The room itself is nice too. I had a corner room, the bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bathtub. The closets were large and the bathrobes were so comfortable! VISITED FOR THE 4th of July America 250 celebration. The A/C in the hotel was not working properly. The lobby, bar and restaurant were warm but the rooms were hot! They moved us to a different room and it wasn’t any better. Miserable since it was over 100° outside and we couldn’t even come back to the hotel to cool down. Trying to sleep was impossible.
