I want to thank each and every person I came to know here, for the outstanding care, kindness and compassion that was given to not only my brother, but to my husband and I for the 6 days we experienced til my brother passed. My Dad was recently at the Retreat. What a beautiful hidden treasure created by God. He was only there for five hours, but it was the most beautiful calming five hours for family. The nurses were so kind & compassionate. The room was very peaceful with soft lighting & soft music. He was surrounded by the voices of family & Pastor when he passed. My father was in hospice care for exactly two weeks, which was the length of time estimated by his health managers. Amazing. The staff was very kind and attentive not only to his needs, but our needs as the family as well. Would highly recommend them.
My dad with dementia was there for two weeks before he passed away. I cannot express how thankful I am for the wonderful staff and the calming effect of the facility itself. I had no concerns about his care when I visited him and would have to leave to go back to work.
