I want to thank the staff at Sun Brook Retreat Assisted Living for taking such excellent care of my mother in law. Every day went I left there I felt peace knowing that she was in good hands and I didn’t have to worry. They were attentive and helpful when needed and answered my questions.
When searching for an assisted living facility for my dad I toured over 10 places and the minute I stepped foot into The Retreat at Sunbrook I knew this was the right one for him. The atmosphere is comforting, the facility is beautiful inside and out. The staff is very friendly and are genuinely concerned with helping us make this transition as easy and stress free as possible. When I made the decision that my wife needed to be placed in a memory care faciity, I did a large amount of research into various places. Because Covid was still semi-active, there were not a lot of places that could take new residents. I took tours and interviewed the admissions staff at no less than 12 facilities in Washington State. Our mother stayed there for years. The employees were nice. the food was poor. When our mother moved out we found mouse droppings everywhere! It was so sad to think that our mom's apartment was infested with mice! I wish I could recommend this place but I can't because of the mice situation.
