The house turned out to have major foundational problems. Maintenance issues were consistently ignored. The property manager spoke to us like we were dirt, to a point where I was terrified of her - then she berated me for not wanting to be the one to deal with her. She would say one thing and then the owner would say he never heard of it, and vice versa; they would say they did not receive requests that were delivered to them securely in writing with the rent (which of course they always cashed).
