May 9, 2015. Outstanding, incredible, delicate and satisfying soup! I love the "small plates" so that I can try several special treats at a time. Food is so creative and accessible here at The Refinery and a very comfortable dining experience whether in the restaurant or on the deck upstairs.
There is not enough stars. One of the best meals I have ever had. Bravo.
Very good food, great beer selection, awesome staff
Well I had to pick a star. If I could there would have been no stars. I had the stuffed pork shoulder. It was so over cooked and dry, no flavor and it was not stuffed. This was one of the worse meals ever. If you are just looking for a beer and a nice place for that great. Go eat some where else. And the service was bad as well.
Went there last night and I was blown away! The food was phenomenal, such great flavor combinations. I especially loved the ravioli with acorn squash! Staff was so so great! The environment reminded me of being in France. Will definitely be back! Ps: do yourself a favor, and get the Naner' Tiramisu!
Congratulations to Chef Baker for scoring his fourth James Beard Foundation semifinalist nod for "Best Chef": South. To quote the Tampa Bay Times, "Tampa's Refinery and the new Fodder & Shine was once again Tampa's best hope.
This is a place where true culinary creativity lives. Casual atmosphere delivering epicurean excellence. Tonight I tried cream of radish soup, braised beef neck, and olive oil cake with beet butercream frosting. (Also sampled my wife's selections.) Outstanding! We have been a few times and I am always amazed and in awe of your creations. Tonight was no exception. Thank you for a great experience.
