great place, good food!
Good place to eat.
Good atmosphere – I went there a couple of times on weekends, the music is fantastic, very crowded (even though that may have to do with the rugby games, I don't know), very good atmosphere. The on;y thing I didn't really like was the fact that bartenders weren't very friendly, but I'm sure dealing with drunk rugby fans may be tough sometimes. Anyway, I will try to go there once without rugby to see what it's like.

Red Lion rocks – Sorry to hear about your experience but I went there on Friday night with a big group of friends. The place was packed with rugby supporters. Audio was on for both the Ireland and England games. The kitchen was open late, got wings at 4.00am! The service was great. The atmosphere was incredible even though we didnt get the results we wanted. They even put a band on inbetween the games. I would definitely go back to watch the rest of games even though our team is out, it will always be my spot for rugby.
Watch At Nevada Smith's (3rd Ave & 12th St) instead!!!!! – Hi - you ruined a 10 year reunion of friends from around the world when you lied and deceived me and my friends into thinking we could come and watch the RWC quarterfinals. No kitchen, no audio and both were promised several times - I called all week long just to make sure, and each time I called I was ASSURED that we would have the audio for the match and that the kitchen would be open. We have tried to work with the difficult timing of the World Cup Games in keeping with the live music and showing the games however it is difficult to please everyone. Terrible service – We thought this would be a good place to symbolize Greenwich Village. We were wrong. I ordered an iced tea, but for some reason the waitress didn't feel the need to bring it to me the first time I asked. She came back and said she wasn't sure I really wanted it. What? Why would I order it if I didn't want it. Finally, 10 minutes later, I got my beverage. I ordered a burger, which was good, but my friend ordered a blackened chicken wrap, which was terrible. Great Experience! – Went for the India World Cup games. Had a blast! Great atmosphere, great service, great food! Drinks are decently pricey, but the experience is totally worth it :)
