I grew up in Glens falls area and always wanted to stay at the Queensbury. On the 7th of sept. 2018I was coming to the area for a wedding and booked a king room for 1 night. Severely disappointed! On checking in the Jazz was so loud and out of tune we had a problem talking to the desk. The room was $225 a night and was deplorable. paint was falling off the ceiling . the base boards were chipped and in one place rotted. the carpet was worn and stained. It was my last visit to this hotel.
RecommendedIt is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area, and close to so many things. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner we had there was delicious and we got a lot. The room was very comfortable, my only complaint-the bathroom was so small- but I will know to be more specific the next time. Will definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend it
This is a beautiful hotel being brought back to its original glory and more! The staff is awesome especially the shuttle driver.
There is some serious thought and money going into this renovation. Lobby is beautiful. Two dining options casual or upscale. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the history. Also a “renovated” downtown Glens Falls just a short walk away, I grew up nearby. Very pleasantly surprised.

a classic hotel with charming details, friendly staff; what an upscale hotel should be. welcoming, without being over the top. in the heart of a quaint american town.
Beautiful historic hotel, clean newly renovated room. Enjoyed an excellent, reasonably priced meal at the pub. Friendly, helpful staff. Pool and hot tub were great but no change rooms or showers, hopefully this will be part of the renovations. Please add recycling basket, tea, real cream, and bottled water to the rooms! Great location.

My daughter had her sister's wedding shower here and the service was perfect. Dirty plates were removed right away and our drinks never went empty!
