Place is good. We were told the portions are served "to be shared". I found the portions small, but that was ok. Drinks were good too. Loved it. A gentleman on the airplane suggested it and it didn’t disappoint! We got the Ricotta and Chicken Skewers. We will be back in the morning for round 2

We've wanting to check the Purple Pig out for quite some time. We arrived on Sunday around 4:30 and were seated right away. We started with the Butternut Squash Soup then the Salt Roasted Beets then 1/2 dozen West Coast Oysters. All of these were excellent. Our next two items were the Milk Braised Pork Shoulder that was so moist and tender and the Octopus that also was very tender with great flavor. We will definitely be back because of the great service and food and too many more items on the menu we want to try.

My expectations were high but the reality of how salty this food was just overwelming. Service was amazing but food was just like eating a piece of salt. I love food but this was just bad. I brought this issue up to a staff member in order to let them know how to improve yet she treated me like I was ignorant about food. I was told that Mediterranean food will have a strong flavors but the only flavor was that of salt. Everything was so salty. I hope they improve their cooking...
