The service was quick and the food was good. The pulled pork had a smoked flavor and you could taste the rub. No sauce was needed. The Brisket Reuben was delicious and would definately order that again. They are doing it right a the Pompous Pig!
First visit and definitely will return. Grew up in KC where we are very serious about our bbq. Asked about the brisket and the guy at the counter asked if I’d like a sample. Said yes and got a very generous sample which was excellent. Many places I’ve been since moving to SC had tough, fatty brisket. This was tender and lean. Good choice of sauces as well which isn’t even needed based on the hickory smoked flavor of the meat. Very pleased. Great meal!!
Not hardly enough food on the plates especially for 13 dollars .. the service and staff were rude and made me feel like I was less than .. I expected way better .. at least enough to make a bbq sandwich
