I am extremely disappointed with the management of this apartment. Please think twice before deciding to move here. I moved in this May, and in June, an unexplained $500 balance appeared on our account. Management admitted that it was caused by a system error, as we have always paid our rent on time. However, instead of correcting the mistake, the system continued adding a $50 late fee every month based on that incorrect balance. I have lived here for almost six years and honestly no complaints. This partially b/c this is an older new building - 2004 which means that the construction is better than a lot of the "newer" buildings which you can tell from the outside are already having problems. The building is well maintained, nice dog park, plenty of parking, appliances are top of the line and almost no maintenance issues in the six years I have been here. I’ve been living here for about a year and have had a good experience overall. One thing I’ve noticed since the new management team took over is that communication has become much better. They regularly send updates about things like parking, safety, community policies, and other issues that affect residents. Even when the information doesn’t directly apply to me, I appreciate being kept informed. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is nice, and the community feels family-friendly. I went to The Pointe at Warner Center to look at a unit. I put in an appointment. When I arrived, no answer. I had to call multiple times via my own cell phone. I used the standalone telephone system in front of the apartment but did not get an answer. The representative that came to show the apartment stated that it was his first day. I asked one question, how old was the building and was told he did not know, it was his first day. After that, no talking.
