I came as part of my Facebook fundraiser for suicide prevention (#TacoQuest50), and they hands down have the best bbq tacos thus far. Because of of my gluten sensitivity they used corn chips instead so it was more like nachos so I didn't get the full experience. I had the infamous beef brisket, pulled pork, & fried green tomatoes (yes I know it has gluten but I had to try some while I was in the South). Simply amazing. The brisket was so moist, I cut it with a spoon. And it was delicious. I love really good baked beans and The Pig & Pint did not disappoint me. Different types of beans, and lots of them. I'm a coleslaw "snob" and their's was ok. But it did not affect my meal. I'm coming back for more!

I think I made a bad choice by getting the boudin burger, which would sound AMAZING if it were done right. Definitely loved their BBQ sauce. Heavenly. Good sweet tea. 7:30 pm on a Saturday and they were out of brisket- which was about 1/3 of their menu.. I found kinda unacceptable but whatever. Decent service. Outdoor seating is the way to go.. adult Jenga and what looked like bean bag toss. I'd go back again(hoping they didn't run out of brisket).
