Our experience with The Pier was amazing!! I was needing a place for a large group of people and they were more than accommodating. Even with some extra changes. The staff was great, the apps and drinks were great, and the food came out hot and very delicious. The service we received spoke volumes about The Pier. It made my night that my parent’s 45th Anniversary dinner turned out spectacular. The best part was Rick came outside to help us take a picture because one of us had been left out. I would highly recommend! We just had our son and daughter in law’s wedding rehearsal supper here. The river level was quite a concern leading up to this. Richard kept in touch and assured us they would be open. The food was great. The wait staff/bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Thank you all for being so accommodating!
Great food and a good view
Quincy is to have a nice restaurant with great food and viewing it historic Mississippi River.
Always a great place .. food and drink are excellent
I’ve always had mostly good food at The Pier but was very disappointed tonight. Originally the waitress said they were out of the Prime Rib special but came back and said she was mistaken. I ordered it medium rare but it came out well done and cold to the touch. I let the waitress know and her solution was to bring warm au jus. I left much of what I ordered uneaten, paid my bill and left. It’s not often you leave hungry with a $70 bill for two.

We do apologize for the inconvenience, the waitress was told that we could not offer it Medium Rare that it would be closer to Medium. She informed us that you were not happy but you had payed and left before we could attempt fix that. You would not have payed for the meal had we known you were not happy with it. Again, we do apologize and hope to see you again.
RecommendedVery accommodating to dietary restrictions, unique daily specials, very attentive service- the flavors were spectacular! Loved the pheasant in cranberry Demi glacé.
