One of the best dining options in Quincy! I go there almost every time I'm back in town.
So, Sunday brunch at The Pier, pride of the riverfront in Quincy, Illinois. The host, whose name I did not catch, was wonderful. Friendly, charming, good at his job. He got us a table with minimal wait on a day when they were quite busy, and did so while cracking a few innocent jokes and generally making me quite optimistic for the coming dining experience.
