The actual US military was less traumatic than this place. The staff were full of people that should not have been working with kids in the first place and the higher ups were absolutely trash leaders and trash people. I'm happy this place is under an ongoing investigation because they made me feel crazy for all the mental and psychological abuse I have endured and pretty much said I'm just a kid and they are the adults. I went there the 1st year it opened in 2001 & was the 1st to graduate out of the program. It was a great experience overall. I hope those I went there with when it first opened are all well! Lucinda Kunnaan
it changed me for the better and i was only there for 3 months although since i left it felt like my progress has slipped out of my hands now that i’m home, whatever you do don’t run away it’s not worth it.
