Cheap Construction, No Parking & Poor Management – I’m a current resident at this horrible property that wants to warn anyone that’s thinking of renting here to look elsewhere. Worst apartment complex ever – They are liars with a single motive...greed. It's the worst rental experience I've ever had. Actually, I've only had good experiences before this, and I move frequently. I'm just an easy, ideal tenant. First of all they often do a switch & bait, show you one apartment, say you can't see the inside of the apartment that's available and then when you move in, you find it there's no bathroom sink & counters, or no kitchen cabinets, or the color scheme is different, or your place is smaller. Don't Live Here, For Your sake – They may rent you a unit with a washer full of mold that you will have to cure with lemon juice yourself, even after complaining. They will definitely not make sure your appliances work well or are energy efficient, especially the heaters which cost a fortune in the winter because of the horribly insulated units. Easy to move in, expensive to move out, on road that is dangerous in winter – I lived at Overlook at Lakemont for about a yr and a half. I wouldn't recommend it for three reasons: 1. They charged me more than $1200 damage to the apartment when I moved out even tho we had paid a $200 pet fee when we moved in. We had one small cat, who had only one hairball, but apparently that was enough for them to replace the entire carpet.
