My103 year old aunt was in the skilled nursing wing of The Orchards for almost seven weeks this summer and she was always treated with kindness, affection and a sense of caring about her that far exceeded just doing their jobs. The administration, nurses, rehab team and staff went out of their way to provide comfortable and attentive care at what was a difficult time for her, and my family is so grateful that we were able to place her at such a lovely facility. The day I was at this facility one of the seniors who was clearly physically not able to move was hunched over in his wheelchair he was moved over to one of the tables for lunch, a plate was placed in front of him and was expected to eat on his own I noticed that he tried picking up his hands, but wasn’t able to do so I pointed him out to one of the ladies in the front desk , and told her the gentleman didn’t seem like he was able to feed himself, and her reply was that they were not able to feed them directly… I Asked her (... read more

In May 2025, my wife was first admitted to the Memory Care facility at The Orchards. Unfortunately, her stay there was brief due to complications from a previous fall at home that led to dual hematomas and brain surgery. After her hospital recovery, she was discharged to The Orchards Skilled Nursing Facility, where she received physical and occupational therapy. My father recently passed but was a resident in memory care at the Orchards. I cannot say enough about how caring and kind the staff is. They take great care to bring their residents joy. Thank you.
