The Orchards facility and team members are outstanding. My husband was a patient there and he was treated like a family member. Administration kept us informed of how my husband was progressing. The doctors always called me after seeing my husband to give me their findings. The nurses and nurse staff were caring, compassionate, and professional. I was always welcomed and greeted by my name. Upon being released from Providence Mission Hospital Mission Viejo’s Acute Rehab Unit after suffering a stroke, our mom needed a skilled nursing facility for her care and ongoing rehabilitation. This facility changed my opinion about skilled nursing facilities. The nursing staff and CNA are compassionate and provided excellent care to my mother following her stroke. The activity staff kept her spirits up. The physical, occupational, and speech therapists were amazing and their expertise and hard work helped my mom regain function and some independence. The Orchards has been a godsend for my mom. Everyone we spoke to told us that we needed to be here and they could not have been more right. From the administrators, social services, physical and occupational therapy staff, wonderful food &meals, and especially the nursing staff, everyone has been so caring and thoughtful. We appreciate everyone and everything that we have been given!
