Let me just say, I live wayyyy on the west side now, and I still make it a point to come to this gym because I love it so much!!! The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. I always feel super welcomed when I'm working out. It's hard to find a gym where you feel comfortable in the environment. Anytime I meet someone new here working out, everyone is so supportive and sweet. Tonight was my first night! At first, I was going to use the one day pass, but after walking into the gym I knew I was going to like it here. I was in need of a place to workout the 3-4 times a week I am in Albuquerque (I live 1.5 hrs. north). I like the idea of the no commitment contract and you're open 24/7! I don't want to spend money on "extra fluff " that other gyms have. I don't want tanning (why would I want that in New Mexico? ), and all that stuff. I just want a gym where I can work out. The Open Gym fits the bill. It's very affordable and open 24 hours. The equipment is well maintained. I don't interact with the staff much, but when I do they're very kind and helpful. It's a great deal at an affordable price. Five stars for The Open Gym.
First off, its hard to find that one gym... I know, I tried other gyms. Now to say, I found the one... is fantastic. Its my 3rd week here and I love it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, clean facility, 24/7, reasonable prices for what they offer.
