Had the special breakfast tacos yesterday. Outstanding and so much food I couldn't eat it all. Great place with good pricing.
It always amazes me that there is almost always a HUGE wait and the staff all seem cool calm and collected. They are organized and efficient in their work getting people in and out timely without making people feel rushed. Then to top it all off their food is amazing! I usually have either the Southern Baja omelet or the chicken fried steak breakfast. Both are very good! My husband usually has the Athena with a biscuit. He raves about them. Absolutely stellar place and worth the wait every time!
I grew up in Santee with the omelette factory as a weekend staple. I took my mom here this past Sunday and it didn't disappoint. She had cheese omlete and I ate the machaca breakfast both were perfection.

I had the Athenian omelette, it was good but had regular black olives and I was expecting Greek olives. A lot of food for the price, cottage fries slightly overcooked. I ate half and took the rest home.
had reservations and still waited over an hour. Not a good experience... First and last time I wiil coming here.
You get a lot of food for the price. I always have to take at least a 3rd home with me. I love their new restaurant and the fact they're family owned and not a corporation. Very good service and they always aim to please. Support family owned businesses and give them a try.
