Although a very busy Saturday night, quick service, and the food was excellent.
Have been here many times! Always great! Was there last night with my wife and a good friend before the Foo Fighters. Prime Rib Sandwich was great, as were the Makers Mark Old Fashioneds!!
Staff was nice, food was OK way too crowded. I would like to go and experience the restaurant at a later time, with less of a rush.
I went for breakfast and ordered something simple. Ham, eggs and rosemary potatoes. This was perhaps the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I’m sold.

Just came in to town from NC and hit this place for a pint and dinner. Great spot! Definitely will be back.
The place is outstanding and the food is great. I had the Thursday special which was the rib plate. I have had a lot of ribs in my day from traveling and this so far is one of the best in Madison. The beer selection is fantastic of which is wisconsin microbrews. Rhe5 atmosphere is great also. The bartenders were very attentive.
