There with family. I had the Wednesday special. I'm not a foodie but I really liked it. More food than you can eat. P.S. the rye bread is really really good.
Yeah, you'll probably have to wait for a table. And yeah, there's a damn good reason for it. Order a drink and some curds at the bar and wait your turn.
Nice location overlooking the entrance to the State Capitol. We sat by the window and ordered the Walleye Sandwich. My husband got the french fried onion rings and were very pleased with our lunch. Great food, great portions, great price and atmosphere. We will definitely be back very soon.
Great first bartender, second one accused us of “duping” him when using our happy hour shot glass for a drink. The same drink paid for previously and the same drink ordered. Total dink. Won’t go back.
Food was fabulous!!!! Service was also excellent. Look forward to going again soon!
First time eating there! We usually just have drinks. We had waffles, Wisconsin eggs Benedict, walleye and eggs, a Bloody Mary and 2 versions of an old fashioned. Everything was great! Including the Service! It’s awesome to see so many local cheeses and products on a menu instead of chain restaurants microwaved 💩. It was crowded as it was the day of the Madison marathon. But the staff did what they could seating our party of 14. Will be happy to come back anytime!
