Was in town for a work conference with a group and needed a place to eat w/in walk-able distance from the hotel. Even w/ the snowy/cold 4 block walk, it was well worth it! Great food, good prices, plenty of food and drink choices!! The service was ok, but definitely forgivable. Great atmosphere - will definitely come back when in Madison again; hopefully soon!
There were 7 in our party...all of our food was delicious. Great selection of food .... Our waiter was very nice too.
As hyped by The Food Network, this place is great. The cheese curds were a melt in your mouth, best we’ve had, yummy treat. Food was tops, as was the service and atmosphere. My wife said, “Good thing we don’t live close, we’d be here all the time.” I don’t see the problem. We loved it!
Daughter and I stopped in for lunch and got seated right away, wasn't as busy, but tended to fill up quick, seeing it is on the square. Excellent service, friendly and warming. Cheesy, beer soup with popcorn? Delicious! And of course, service from our Favorite waitress, Devonna, whom, happens to be my daughter! Will continue to visit when in Madison. ��

Great food, great service, love the atmosphere! Our server was attentive, funny, and helpful. My son said the House Burger was the BEST BURGER he’s had in his 12 years on this planet (bold statement). Our Wausau crew will be back soon✌🏻👍🏻...
