Four of us were seated pretty quickly. We had a very knowledgeable and friendly waiter. He gave me a great beer recommendation and let us know what was yummy on the menu and he wasn't wrong! The cheese curds was a good portion size and the curds were small and lightly battered-very tasty. The guys had the #30 burger and it was amazing! The girls had the grilled cheese special and it didn't disappoint! Worth the trip!

Amazing food and atmosphere
Finally found a time when it’s not so busy here- 9pm on Sunday night. Good thing we’re retired! Best Old Fashion in town-and we have tried a lot. Brandy slush is great too. Can’t beat the burger with the egg on top and the walleye sandwich. 🍔🍹
Best bartender experience I ever had took place here. A tall bartender with a dark beard gave me a flight of Wisconsin Porters while imparting knowledge of the different regions of Wisconsin and how they impact the flavor of each distinct Porter. It was amazing. He wouldn’t charge me for the flight/tasting so I happily tipped him a $20 when he served me my Porter of choice. ���
Found this place through a recommendation from a colleague. We travel all over the US for work and his eyes lit up when I said I was going to Madison! I did t have time for dinner so made it for a late lunch the next day and was glad I made it. It’s now on my list of must stops when in the area. Loved it!
Awsome meal and the bock was excellent! Will definitely be back when in the area.
