They accepted our reservation for our first night out since the pandemic to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We have been loyal club members for years and always enjoyed dining here. They cancelled our reservation the day of our anniversary and did not even have the courtesy of calling us to let us know. We were dressed and ready to leave when my calendar alerted me to the cancellation, not the restaurant. I think they could have handled this situation a heck of a lot better than they did.
Racist place blacks are not welcome! Myself and my fiance arrived at the restaurant about 7 p.m. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess and asked if we had a reservation. We did not. Then she asked us would we like to sit at the bar which was odd. It was odd because no one was seated at the bar, and we felt pressure to sit at the bar versus the dining room like they were trying to ostracize us. While I understand current circumstances may have impacted our experience, we were extremely disappointed in our dining experience. We chose this spot to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We ordered the Chicken Fried lobster, Crusted Ahi Tuna and 2 plates of the shellfish grill. The Lobster was fantastic. The grill plates had little to no flavor, the tuna was dry and sub par at best for a $40 dish the size of an appetizer portion.
