The OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center unofficially started in April of 2008, and was officially known as The Counseling Center. Over the years, there has been an increasing need for individuals in our community to get proper treatment for OCD and anxiety symptoms. There are many places one can choose to go to seek mental health treatment. I will be forever grateful for the services offered by the center. No one is perfect, but if a person wants a highly hands on and personalized treatment, then this center has the ability to help. They are specialized in DBT treatment, which involves the skills of mindfulness and regulating distressing emotions. Overall beneficial for someone willing to be humble and active in trying to achieve better mental health.
Staff are thoroughly trained to work specifically on helping clients manage anxiety related issues and live their best lives uncertain.
I do not recommend the OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center at all
Horrible doctors that are misleading. They don’t tell you about a 6-9 month waiting period until after making you come and wasting 2 to 3 hours of your time. Be careful, they will lie to you too!
If you or anyone you know that struggles with obsessive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, or even panic disorder, this anxiety treatment center in Bountiful is the place to go! I am currently in the Outpatient Treatment Program and I am learning a LOT. I'm excited to say, I am starting to feel confident again, something that I haven't had in a while. I am now determined to get my life back!
