This is the historic burger and beer bar for Stanford, Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Silicon Valley. Run for 60 years by a family that actually cares about their customers and employees. There is no better place between San Jose and San Francisco to have a meal with your kids or a beet with a friend.
After sitting many hours at the short bar with Mark, Larry, Harkins, Roger, and many more. I figured I may as well get paid to spend time at a place that I loved. i worked at the "O" for three years with Rosa and Pete. A great part of my life. I still go there, and will be there before the closing. Anne
Love this place! great little pizzas and the turkey burger is delicious. The owner and employees are very friendly and it’s just a great local spot for sports etc... When greed takes place anything after this will fail I’m sure.
This place is amazing! I can't believe its closing. I've never had anything other than a wonderful meal here. I hope the people who own the building wind up bankrupt for their greed and insensitivity. The Oasis is an institution!
