My mom had a stroke a month ago. She is in the skilled nursing in Byron Center. Our first weeks with her there were not good, the nursing staff is great but there seemed to be a disconnect somewhere, she had a uti when she went to hospital. When she returned to oaks it took us a week to get her retested for the uti and 3 days for medication to arrive. My big complaint is in the amount of aids on staff, at the price of 15,900 a month which is significantly higher than other places, now, granted it’s a nice place but… Also, my... read more
The Oaks at Byron Center is a wonderful place. They have a lot of activities to keep all the residence happy and entertained. They are very tentative to the residents and family members. They really do care and love the residents and their families. I would have no problem bring all my family members to this location if they ever needed skilled nursing facilities needs and amenities. This place is wonderful.
Our experience at the Oaks has been and continues to be positive. My mother in assisted living gets attentive care from staff who are competent and have cheerful attitudes. The staff sees that my mother is aware of and participates in the daily programming. Program activities are inclusive and creative. We are very satisfied with the care at The Oaks.
We had nothing but a good experience with the facility. They were very informative and helped us explore many options for our love one. I would highly recommend this place.
My Dad was at the Oaks for almost five years in memory care. He was so loved by everyone and very well taken care of. They did activities, singing, exercising, and even field trips. I would highly recommend the Oaks!
