My friend picked The Oak as a surprise for my birthday dinner last night and we could not have had a better experience. The entire staff was so amazing and treated us so well even though we were a large and loud group. Special thanks to Alex for her amazing service and for having fun with us. The drinks and the food were all so delicious. I cannot wait to go back.
Best bartenders and drinks in town ! I never knew I loved bourbon until I found this little gem!!
One of the best restaurants in Raleigh! BBQ, Mac and cheese and Brussel spouts we're on point!

Tried The Oak last night with friends and was not disappointed! The food was exceptional! The beef and brie sliders were cooked perfectly, and paired great with their handcut fries. The mac and cheese is a must try, as is their braised pork. The brussel sprouts are equally amazing, seriously, make your Mom proud and give them a try! Definitely ask for Alex to be your server. She is so knowledgable about the bourbons and a complete joy.
I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience! We went there for my husband's birthday; we are both bourbon lovers! Our waitress, Megan was phenomenal! We told her what we liked and she created 2 amazing flights of bourbon! We found a new favorite to keep at the house!! We also loved the House Bourbon and will have to go back a lot to get our fix of that! We also had old fashions (onevwith rhuburb the other black walnut) and they were the best we've ever had.
