Tony and his family have been providing me and my family with our coffee and kitchenware needs for almost 20 years. From day one, the experience at Northwest Kitchenware has been second to none. I've purchased everything from coffee machines to pasta pots with every visit being welcomed with a warm smile, a genuine sense of service and a level of expertise seldom found anywhere else. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you pay them a visit. It will be the last place you ever go for your coffee and kitchenware needs. I gu... read more

If you’re a true coffee aficionado, this is your store. It’s like going for espresso in Italy…the owner makes you feel like his favourite customer. He’ll even make you a coffee, he likes to chat and he’ll make you laugh. All that on top of the fact the he has the best selection of espresso machines and accessories in the GTA. We have a La Pavoni and he’s the only person who sells and services those (I think). I highly recommend!

My La Pavoni machine was a tough one. It is a pre-2000 unit so NO TOOLS are readily available to fix it. I had it in months ago and Tony quite literally rebuilt it! I "immediately" rushed her back into Northwest Kitchen on a Saturday because her pressure was failing and crema was bubbles. Not good. He quickly established that the pressure valve on the back of the unit had dented at the seam and needed to be repai... read more

We drove from midtown to visit this amazing shop! Tony was so patient and helpful as we decided on a new espresso machine. It was a busy Saturday morning, but we never felt rushed. He even followed up with a check in call to make sure the machine is working well... Our coffee experience has been significantly upgraded since the weekend. I don't hesitate to recommend this store and the lovely family that runs it...

No one locally would or could fix my pre-Millenium La Pavoni espresso maker. I saw my exact model a couple years ago in a glass “heritage” display case in a cafe in Rome next to the Trevi Fountain. So that sets the scene. Tony took my machine and surgically rebuilt it almost entirely!! He showed me pictures on his phone of the process and the bit and pieces he dug out yo be replaced. Everything from gaskets, to pressure valves, and even the base itself. THIS is a master craftsman and someone who is passionate about their cra... read more
