This is an undiscovered gem with lots of good roads and trails and exhibits. They also offer classes and talks on various topics. It's been my oasis of sanity and peace and quiet.
The price is outrageous. The staff is not courteous.

The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. My Grandmother was proposed to in the early 40's there and My mother was proposed to as well, decades later. It's a special place to me.
Love The North Carolina Arboretum! We have attended the Carolina Bonsai Expo two years in a row and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
