I cannot express how wonderful of an experience we had with the North Carolina Arboretum. From the beginning, we worked with Kate, who was unbelievably quick and helpful in responding to all of our emails. We had our reception dinner inside the Baker Exhibition Center, then moved upstairs and outside for cake and dancing. Everyone was absolutely blown away when they went outside, thanks in large part to the gorgeous setting made possible by the cafe lighting.

Absolutely loved everything about my visit here with family. Beautifully tended but still inviting, lovely employees, gorgeous visitors’ center... did some serious spending in the gift shop. The fragrance exhibit was fun & enlightening! Perfect quiche, salad & mushroom soup lunch at the onsite cafe. Will be back (although I live in IL) to walk the trails when it’s not raining ☔️ 🌲🍁🌳🍄🌷🌼🌺🌿

Beautiful trails and have had many wonderful fun and educational experiences there with my grandchildren. Lovely memories of lunches and walks with my mom. It's my walking place and I see something new every time I'm there.

A great place to see biodiversity and good stewardship at work. A great peaceful place to enjoy the splendor of nature.

My daughter and I went to the plant sale today, May 16. We paid $14 to get in and there were 4 small tables of plants. I was so disappointed. Don't waste your time. There was nothing unusual there an the plants were overpriced. The Farmer's Market is free with much better selection and better prices!!!!!

As a photographer, the NC Arboretum is one of my favorite outdoor wedding venues because of the mix of natural light and interesting architecture to work with. The staff is always detailed and helpful, too. I look forward to the next event we can work together on!
