The arboretum is a great place to get out and enjoy the quiet & beauty of nature, even during the colder months. I haven’t been in Spring yet, but the Fall colors are especially gorgeous, and there was a unique bonsai tree exhibit when I visited.

The arboretum visit was a trip highlight. The bonsai garden alone is with a visit. I highly recommend timing a visit with their plant sale. Plan on spending a few hours here. Have lunch on the terrace and soak up the atmosphere.

It's after Christmas, and there is plenty of room for two people to go on another evening. I will NOT be renewing my membership to the NC Arboretum this year, nor ever going to this event again! Talk about lacking in the spirit of the holiday. I can understand if this actually caused a problem for them, but this is just nothing but greedy and grinchy, in my opin... read more
