Love this place! I've lived in Anderson for a number of years & I have to say that this is my favorite place in town to eat. It's so much better & different than your standard fast food places (yuck)!! They have some of the best hummus & lentil soup that I've ever had. If you're going to get dessert, go for the coconut puff! Sweet, flaky crust around a warm, creamy coconut filling & covered with powdered sugar! YUMMY!! The bellydancers on the weekends are great, too.
Awesome Restaurant!!! I grew up in Anderson, and I honestly don't think there's a better restaurant in this town! I hate eating at chain restaurants, and this one is by far the best. Even when I moved on to bigger and better cities, I had problems finding Mediterranean food that tasted quite so great. The owners are both Egyptian at least one of them is there at every point during the day. They care about their business, and it truly shows in the quality of food.
Kinda pricey, but good food My brother took me here the first time I went, and I fell in love. Delicious Mediterranean food! Prices are kind of high, but it is worth it. The decor inside can be funny around Christmas when they put a Santa hat on a mummy sarcophagus. There are really pretty things to look at on the walls and at the table. This would be a fun date dinner.
Great food! This is a fun place to go with friends. They serve authentic Mediterranean food. On the weekends they offer a Hookah bar, which attracts the college crowd. They are a bit pricey, but worth eating food that is different than fast food!
