RecommendedGreat food and diner atmosphere Just be careful and check your bill.... 18% gratuity was automatically added in my bill and I almost did another 20%. They never made us aware of that and only after I questioned it, the waitress played dumb to it.

Great food and great service! We were in a time crunch between two graduation commencements at the convention center. Our server got us taken care of quickly so we could get back in time.
Tho I do love the food, I am still upset I cannot use my gift cards. went on the 9th and their system was down. The manager offered 10$ off but I have 50$ on my gift card. I just decided to leave. Called them today and the system is still down. It isn't very convenient. I'm going to call back tomorrow In hopes I can actually talk to a manager to get this situated because I love this place and want to come use my gift cards. I hope they get the system fixed soon.

Sorry for being such a liability, Nicollet Diner. I'll try to be less rapeable in the future. The men's and women's bathrooms and common sink area are painted in blackboard paint. The women's room didn't have any chalk so I tried the same door code on the Men's room. Grabbed chalk and promptly exited. Security guy was in the common sink area as I was exiting, asked me what I was doing. I held up the chalk. They said I had to leave right now.
