Typically I go to the Berlin Diner for breakfast, when in the area, and have not had a bad one yet. Service is always friendly and competent.
The Staff were extremely welcoming and very pleasant to be around. All smiles with a delicious favorable meal is rare these days. Come stop by!
Stopped in on Sunday for first time with my high school daughter after a college visit. I'm limited on what I can eat due to oral surgery. Our waitress Casey was the sweetest person. She brought out samples of both soups and gave me apple sauce with my grilled cheese instead of fries. Our drinks were constantly filled up. We will be back and can only hope to be blessed with her as our waitress again :)
My service was good however my cheese steak was not and on top of that my bill was $12.79 so I added a $3.00 tip on my card. Today I checked my account and they charged my account $16.29, that doesn't add up so apparently a 25 percent tip wasn't good enough, I guess they needed an extra .50 cents not sure if I will give them another try, sad because I grew up in Berlin from 1969 till 1979 and still pass through twice a month to see my doctor and would stop have dinner there or at Palace diner!!!!

only reason im not giving this place 5 stars is because of their server tiffany. i have had her a few times and she is one of THE WORST waitresses ive ever had. she is rude, does not check on the table to refill drinks, she greets the table rudely every time! last time she just threw our drinks on the table followed by an eye roll. she seems to have an attitude problem and never seems like she wants to be there. really should consider getting rid of her
We went for breakfast this am and our food was great and Kim our waitress was warm and welcoming. This is our new breakfast place!
Great service & food.friendly.No grouchy waitresses!
