On August 18th I posted a bad review of the New Berlin Diner. I said some negative things and in retrospect can see that this was a mistake and I was in error to do so. We should have spoken directly to the owner of the Berlin Diner before posting a negative comment. To be perfectly frank we knew nothing, at the time, of how a diner/restaurant owner handles their day to day business. A friend and I had breakfast there last week. Waitress was young, friendly, attentive and very polite. The food was great.
WTF is going on later. This is our favorite place to go for a good breakfast and lunch. However, lately our REGULAR waitresses having been there or have been upset. It seems that the younger waitresses are there more often and honestly not as good or not as friendly. If this becomes the new situation, we will probably be looking for a new place. Very sad and disappointed.
We were greeted by the host at the front counter and our waitress. The waitress was very attentive and our food arrived in a timely manner . We were very pleased .
Visiting family and decided to gran a quick bite, big mistake! The food was excellent which is a real shame, because the service was past poor. My waitress was clearly on something and its apparently an open secret as several of the wait staff gathered together discussing Jordan and her ” problem” during break time. This is not only unpleasant but very unprofessional. You have a nice small time vibe going here but you might want to fix your waitresses if you want to keep it going
First time there with my husband n everyone's there is very friendly n politely. Make you feel at home. Thank you everything's was great. Will be back soon
Ugh, tried to have a nice peaceful breakfast but when you hire drug addicts as waitresses, I shouldn't expect good service. This young woman, name was Jordan/ Jordon could barely keep her eyes open. Nodding off taking our order. The food was good but it was not what we ordered and I was to upset to try my hand at asking her to fix it. This is a place I won't be returning to ever again.
Sat down around 3:15 and walked out at 3:36. Apparently it was more important for all of the staff to take their meal break at the same time than to take our order. Shame because my mom lives a couple miles down the road so we figured we would give it a try in case she wanted to go at some time.
