Easily the worst experience I have ever had with any type of doctor in 33 years - and my mother is terminally ill and has dealt with a LOT of doctors. I rarely complain about doctor's offices - I'm a super patient person and, after raising a child with autism, I know how crazy red tape and insurance and overbooked offices can be. Constantly shifting and changing appointments for people with mental health conditions and refusing to take responsibility for their appointments errors even when the patient has written evidence. Just wrong!
The doctor needs to be more proactive in making sure people who come to this practice are treated with kindness and compassion. For any doctor to come upon a Mother sobbing to his receptionist and not at least find out what’s wrong is reprehensible. Yes America has a mental health problem but we also have a PEOPLE problem. This mindset of if it doesn’t effect you directly it’s not something to bother with is shameful. Especially when this mindset is present at ANY health office.
Horrible experience. Never again. Find someplace who cares about mental health, this place sure doesn’t.
This facility canceled an Appointment for my Granddaughter two weeks ago after they arrived 15 minutes early for the scheduled appointment. They were rescheduled for today May 19th at 1:30pm ( have appointment card with that time on it) when they arrived ,again 15 minutes early, They were told they missed their appointment at 11:15. My daughter showed the appointment card and was still turned away. We have serious mental Health care issues in this country and this facility is not Helping.
