A grand old hotel restored to her former beauty. Bar and restaurant on the first floor. Had breakfast with Stanley L., the owner this morning and told him what a great job he did on this national treasure, the National Hotel in Jackson, California.
Very nice room and amenities.
valentine dinner was excellent..Lobster was perfect size..
Great Food and Service! On Main Street in Downtown Jackson, CA
Just a great place to stay; wonderful atmosphere, it's haunted, cozy beds, close to recreation, and wonderful staff
We went to Stanley’s for lunch on Friday and were surprised at the affordable prices! I ordered the wedge salad with steak (perfectly cooked to my requested medium rare). My 2 year old daughter ordered the spaghetti with butter (marinara on the side-if she wanted it). She ate almost all of it (she didn’t opt for the sauce). For dessert we had the mousse which was served with rich chocolate sauce, strawberries and fresh whipped cream!
great hotel with a lot of history..
Beds are so comfortable. Rooms are small. Bathroom lighting needs improvement. Hard to see to apply makeup.
Terrible food in the basement of the Old National with NO windows ! Stan move the Great Old bar that used to greet everyone that walked through the doors, downstairs too %$& ? Also replaced the Big Ol' doors & windows with "Plastic"ones ? Absolutely RUINED the feel of the ENTIRE town! Maybe Stan needs a big write-off ? If not ? He should take a look at Sutter Creek &/or Murphy's have done !!
