You people who complain about the crowds I agree it was crowded, but if you step back and look at it from a reality perspective.... You live in Chicago, and there is a crowd every where you go. Did you really expect anything different here??? If you did, maybe that's where the true problem lies. I thought that The Morton Arboretum put on an excellent light show that was beautiful. The scenery was beautiful and while it was VERY crowded, and I had to park way out from the main campus, there was a bus waiting for us which we g... read more

The most beautiful Christmas theme I've ever seen. You can't expect to do any better than the Morton Arboretum at Christmas time. I strongly suggest you consider coming here with your family enjoy the views and sights. Absolutely breathtaking! $18 per adult and kids are cheaper. Free parking and hot chocolate/ hot cider in beverage/snack tents all along the trail. Have fun!!

Went with family Sunday during the snow storm. We all loved it. was not overly crowded and did not have any issues pushing a stroller around. I don't understand the negative comments in other reviews. This is a family event if you don't like people or kids or cant push a stroller up a small hill stay home. The lights were absolutely beautiful

I thought it was exceptional and perfectly executed!! Such an assortment and the firepits along the way ..even makings for smores. They had many benches to sit if needed and areas to get hot drinks! It was a great ecperience and i would love to do it again next year!!

The Arboretum is a treasure all year long. I'm a member and enjoy being out in it all 4 seasons. I believe the illumination of trees is in its second or third year. I visited it yesterday for the first time and was extremely impressed by it. Really a first class job with probably half a dozen choreographed light shows besides other static light displays that were great. What a great idea to have thought of the concept and outstanding job was done putting it together.

It was wonderful. It takes about 90 minutes to get through the whole thing but it didn't feel like it. Highly recommend going!

We loved the breathing trees. The unfortunate part was the bathrooms we had no idea where the bathrooms we and my granddaughter had to leave due to an accident. Wish there was a way they could have gotten back in so she could have enjoyed the experience with her dad, but there is a no re entry policy
