It was a beautiful snowy night and the light show was amazing. Went with another couple and all we could say was how magical it all looked.

We went to the Illumination Saturday December 10. First time ever there and it was wonderful! We were fortunate to attend during a gentle snowfall and pleasant temperatures. The display was amazing and the snow falling made it so magical. We also enjoyed the fire pits. Afterwards we had a great meal at the restaurant and there was live music. Perfect evening. Really put us in the Christmas spirit.

Illumination is one of the most wonderful holiday experiences I've ever had. So sad the one reviewer had such a bad time ... if you don't like crowds, come on a week night, or come later on a sold out night like I did ... 7:30 p.m. and the place is almost empty! Lovely stroll with lovely people looking at an amazing compilation of trees and imaginative lighting. Don't miss it!

It exceeded my expectations. This was so much more than lights. It was special effects, music, and light choreography. We will be back next year. We were able to walk the route in just under an hour. During it we stopped and took pictures. Those traveling with children may need more time, as I'm sure the kids will want to hug a tree and participate in some of the interactive exhibits. Stunning.

Loved it! The lights are beautiful! We went on Friday 8pm, not too crowded.

The arboretum made the illumination show amazing this year. We went while it was snowing the parking lots were plowed and pathes to the visitors center shoveled. It was an amazing time.
