We love the Morton Aboretum. There is something special about every season. We just attended Illumination with 10 family members. It gets better every year!
We finally made it to Illumination and it was magical!
I felt it was the best light festival I've seen!!! It was a magical night. I absolutely loved it!! I'd highly recommend it to friends and family.
A place I never tire of going.......excellent throughout the year, the walk is very nicely set out, and bike hire is available to do the longer route. Great for family picnic's or romantic walks. A must see in Chicago.
Do not miss this! The breathing trees are amazing.
Long time friends and I took our two teenage daughters, 15/16 yrs old, along with our hubbies last night. If you are a parent of a teenager you will understand this is a tough age to please. With technology taking over a good portion of our youth it leaves less time or interest for families to "just have fun"., do something simple. This we did. Not only did we love the creativity, music, yummies and surprises along the way, BUT so did the girls. Nice job Morton Arboretum. Will look forward to next year. By the way the medall... read more

The lights were awesome but it was way too crowded. Crowds just stopped on the path and would not move to let ppl by.
Awesome display of lights. Great family fun. So much to see we spent two and a half hours walking around.
