4 adults and 4 tweens.... we loved it! Our 4th year! Tradition. Love being outside... toasty warm as we dressed for the weather in boots, snow pants, layers... Smores and hot cocoa were perfect treats. Our favorite exhibit was treemagination... Living breathing trees, so beautiful. We will be back next year! Morton arboretum- thank you! Illumination does not disappoint!

I have been here 3 times. Everytime it has been set up differently, making it new each time. The warm up stations are wonderful, wether it is a log fire or tent. I love how you can interact with different presentations, that is wonderful for all ages. Very nice gift shop, too! I hope to go again and again!!

Thought there would be more lights/decorations like my neighbors house. Lots of colored spotlights. Not what I expected.

Loved illuminations!! My 6 year old and his friend were amazed the whole time! They loved the interactive medallions and the fire pit with smore's!!!

This has been a Christmas tradition for a couple of years now and while it remains fun, this year it felt a little less magical. The introduction of the medallions was such a distraction for the 6 and 7yr olds in our party they didn't really look at the trees at all, and I don't think they added anything to the experience.

It’s an experience beyond measure. Everyone should get out and experience all the beauty nature has to offer at the arboretum. It’s as peaceful and as tranquil as any outdoor experience you can imagine. Truly breathtaking.
