Love the dog admission days, though there should be more of them!
Loove the Arboretum , use to be Employed there , Years ago !!
Tree lovers heaven. To see American Chestnut for the first time. The Beech collection. The Spruce Plot. Be ready to take your time, be ready to walk amongst the trees, be ready to let go, and breathe it all in.
I've enjoyed visiting during summer and fall before and it was wonderful but today was my first winter visit and I was disappointed that most of the Children's Garden was closed with no notification on their website, which I was careful to check before visiting. If I had known that there was so little for my daughter to enjoy today then I would have selected a different place and had a much less cranky child.
One of our favorite places! Had our wedding reception here and loved it. Now we come back with the kids. The children’s garden and classes are a wonderful way to get them out into nature and the enchanted railroad in Feb is really neat too.
Great great day cross country skiing. The scenery was just gorgeous. The Arboretum never disappoints. (Waiting for ski rental was kind of annoying but worth the wait).
Morton Arboretum was great this week-end. We were good, only destroyed one chocolate cupcake at the Chocolate Tasting Fest...
Very pretty, year round. Always a nice day at the Arb!
Chocolate fest was fun! Love trying things I wouldn’t have otherwise.
