Love the Morton Arboretum. I've been a member since childhood, for over 30 years. Grounds are clean, my daughters love the children's garden, tons of trails to explore on foot. I just wish vehicles would be more cognizant of their road usage, with some extra consideration for cyclists. The right side of all paved roads are our lane, and that's not always honored. Even the Acorn Express, which has a sign on the back reading "Bicycles pass on the right " didn't give me enough room to pass today, for quite some time. Let's all... read more
Surroundings were beautiful, music entertaining, weather fantastic. Lovely event, however it was very crowded, to the point where it took away from the overall experience. Maybe extend the WWW series to the lawn? I've attended concerts at Morton Arboretum in the past and patrons were seated on the lawn. It was wonderful!!
After 22 years of marriage and 2 kids, my wife and I are reconnecting with each other with walks several times a week before work. Our goal is to walk all the trails in all the seasons. It is a beautiful place to walk with your best friend!
Wonderful Way to spend a Sunday! So friendly and peaceful! It was our first visit and I cannot wait to come back in the fall 😊
Beautiful grounds to listen to music on Wednesday nites or just walk around and enjoy the sites.
Been a member for many years and still finding new things/ways to explore and appreciate at Morton Arb. Can't wait to walk among the leaves in Fall; always a beautiful place in all seasons.
Morton Arboretum is such a wonderful place to soak in nature. I love going there. From the meandering paths to the immaculately groomed gardens, it's beautiful. The Children's Garden is so magical and inviting-not just for children, adults revel in it as well. My grand children love the maze, too. I'm looking forward to the fall colors. Can't wait. If you haven't seen the fabulous origami sculptures now on display, plan to go before they disappear. They are amazing.
A lack of communication, several unreturned phone calls from management and no flexibility to solve a simple problem left an entire Girl Scout Troop without a place to camp this weekend. Management is arrogant and full of themselves and forget the real reason the park is there... for people and especially children to enjoy. Its disgusting the way these little girls who have looked forward to this event all summer have been treated. Management should be reevaluated.
The Morton Arboretum has a 4.8 star rating with 15,124 reviews.
The Morton Arboretum is open now. It will close at 8:30 p.m.
