Tried this restaurant for our anniversary dinner since I had to "cook" . They had amazing food. The building was spotless and a very cool remodeled mill. The staff was also very nice. The train went by but only about two or three times. It was actually a cool part of the dining experience as it was well muffled. You mainly "felt" it when it passed. Came back since our first experience was amazing but what a disappointment snarky hostess when I asked for a booth she literally made a noise of disgust. I should have immediately walked out because the waitress was even worse NEVER going back which is a shame because the food was wonderful. Management really needs to re-evaluate the staff in their place they are ruining the business. �
My wife and our 2 kids came up from DC to Harrisburg area for Ski RoundTop race on Sunday morning. I heard a lot about this historic place and even went a couple of times for business functions, but wanted the rest of the family to experience it. I was a bit hesitant as they could not take our reservation at the last minute, but they assured us that there will be plenty of seating at any of the bars at 3 levels/floors.
