The Met apartments fabricate claims of carpet damage and charge for replacement of carpet in every room when you move out! They claim pet damage to carpet when any pet owner moves out! Our dog never even went in the carpeted rooms and we have documentation from a professional carpet cleaning agency that cleaned our carpet before we moved out stating that the carpet was in good condition! Do not move to the Met apartments unless you want to pay to replace all the carpet when you move out!!!!!

Hi Jill, Yes, it is our policy to replace pet damaged carpet so new residents do not have to live with damaged flooring. We do, however, prorate the cost based on the remaining life of the carpet. If you would like to review the pictures or charges, please contact the office at 601-909-2235. We can also work out a payment plan to assist in keeping these charges off your credit.
I've lived here a little over a year The first year it was my home.Now I hate coming here because it is NO longer my peaceful living surroundings.If you like party animals come live here you'll fit right in.As soon as my lease is up I can't wait to move.Im extremely sad/mad about it.

The Met is aesthetically pleasing for the most part, but I have a lot of issues with management. I have dealt with noisy neighbors for seven months with little enforcement of community policy by management, both old and new. Management received over 30 complaints and at least four months time to enforce their own policy prior to the COVID19 pandemic shutting things down. RecommendedWe relocated to Hattiesburg almost 2 years ago for a new job. The Met is a great apartment community. Wonderful staff, great amenities and safe surroundings. We give The Met a 5 ⭐️ rating!
The MET is a great place to live. Great gym, media center, pool table, pool, and a great location. They also have a nice lobby area with all kinds of different complimentary coffee. I have not left a review but felt compelled to after seeing the Property Manager out in the cold rain today fixing the trash compacter. I am pretty sure it is her day off, but she was out there in the rain fixing the problem. The new management from Heritage is not good. The property manager, Rebeca, laughed at the damage to my personal property that was caused from 2 leaks from the ceiling. Once my lease ends, I will be leaving. I’ve heard similar stories from neighbors who will be leaving too. I will say the maintenance team is great here. They were quick to repair the damage from my leaking ceiling.
I actually love my apartment here and the amenities are very nice. The grounds are well maintained. The office staff is always very polite whenever I’ve had to interact with them as well. It’s lovely. However, I have complained multiple times about the ridiculous noise and heavy smell of pot from my downstairs neighbor’s apartment. It is a nice quiet, well maintained, and pet friendly complex.
Great place to live, it is well kept, staff is awesome, real nice pool area and game room and gym!!!
