Years ago, I had the most abusive and unprofessional nurse I'd ever encountered while I was a patient in the ICU. Her behavior was despicable, making me wonder if she treated all patients of color the way she treated me. I hope she found another profession-- one where it is acceptable to yell at people instead of yelling at an ICU patient.

Business response:

Lyn, we would like to learn more about your experience. Please reach out to our Patient Advocate at 303-873-5988. Thank you.

I gave birth here and received the best care I’ve ever had. The nurses were all so sweet and compassionate, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Dr. Gerow was amazing with helping me deliver my big baby, I’m so thankful to have had the experience and pleasure of having my baby girl here :)

The doctors and nurses are great. But I think it is ridiculous that only ONE visitor per day can go in to see a patient. And then they don’t tell you that when you wait. When the visitor left I wanted to go in and the guy up front said no you can not go in. After back and forth he finally said one visitor per day. Why didn’t he tell me that when I came in. He did say the patient has a visitor, but nothing about I could not go in. Yesterday we took turns an nobody said anything about one per day. What changed over night? How ... read more

Business response:

Everytime I've been to this hospital, I've been treated terribly. I was there for kidney stones a couple years ago, and accussed the throwing up i had to smoking marijuana, not the fact that my kidney had an infection. I was there on the 10th of October, no one came for intake or insurance, which I have, and was sent a lovely bill! My husband told me i was not checked in on and was just left in a corner room. discharge didn't have me sign any papers and again no one asked for my insurance, and accused the issue of being weed... read more

Had a bilateral mastectomy 6 years ago but still get traumatizing emails like this: Sounds like their medical records system is a joke.

Cristine, please accept our sincere apology. We are actively investigating any issues that may have occurred from a technological standpoint. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as we work to remedy the issue. Thank you.

I was brought back over an hour ago. They couldn’t get the BP to work on the machine and put me in a room to get a manual BP. 56 minutes later my elevated BP still has not been checked. I’m still in the room!

Business response:

Jessica, please know we take concerns like this very seriously. While we are unable to discuss specific encounters publicly due to privacy laws, we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you offline. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our Patient Advocate at 303-873-5988 at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
